From our first meeting his medical knowledge, extensive experience and surgical expertise were apparent and very reassuring. These are all matched by the most wonderful bedside manner and empathy. The operation went better than I could have hoped and I am now well on the way to recovery. When faced with a rare diagnosis I cannot recommend being treated and operated on by an expert. Last Year I unfortunately had a heart attack. However I was lucky enough to have been treated at St. Bart's NHS trust. I cannot praise them enough. The care I received was amazing. I ended up having a quadruple bypass (hey, why do things by halves). David Lawrence was my surgeon. Thanks to him and his team I feel great, amazing even. These people are true hero's. I really don't understand the erroneous reviews above. Please ignore.

In 2014 my mother had a valve replacement and we were absolutely delighted with the results carried out by Dr Lawrence. Then, in 2015 my mum had a pacemaker. Dr Lawrence saved my mother who literally would have passed away in a matter of weeks. We found him just in time, as the NHS were taking forever to diagnose my mother and the waiting list, was endless. The Dr gave my mum the very best care, support and uptodate information and consultations so she was aware of every step as she suffers with anxiety. Thank you.
